Aftershock Contract & Guarantee
THE PUPPY named in this contract: Aftershock puppy or dog________________ is an AKC registerable Belgian Tervuren born_____________ in good health and free from congenital defects and communicable diseases as determined by the Breeder and the breeder"s veterinarian. The dog is being sold for $____ of which $ 1000 will be paid as a nonrefundable deposit and the rest will paid at pick up or before shipping.
Buyer and breeder agree to the following terms:
{01} Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of possession.
{02}Buyer may return the puppy to the breeder for refund or replacement if within the first 14 days of possession, a licensed veterinarian certifies in writing that the puppy is ill or deformed or has a congenital defect that affects the health or breeding ability.Any transportation costs including health certificate for airline travel, are the responsibility of thee buyer.
{03} Breeder provides a three year limited genetic health guarantee. Should the puppy die as a result of a genetic illness through an official diagnosis or necropsy. Breeder will provide a replacement puppy of like quality.Monetary refunds are not available. Shipping is excluded. Except as stated in this contract, the Breeder makes no representations as to the health of this puppy, nor does the Breeder assume any other financial obligations to the Buyer.
{04} BUYER agrees to wait until at least 2 years to neuter or spay for the proper development and growth which will ensure the longevity and health of puppy. More information and links in the health and longevity section.
{05} Buyer agrees for the health and longevity of the puppy to follow the Breeders recommended vaccination protocol as advised under Vaccination in health and longevity section.Failure to comply to No. 4 & 5 terms will void any health guarantees as stated in this contract.
{06} Buyer agrees to allow puppy to live indoors and to provide an adequate secure fenced area for exercise and play when the puppy is outside.
{07} Buyer agrees to provide premium quality food and water, prompt veterinary care, proper grooming, training ,socialization as recommended by Breeder.
{08} Buyer agrees to maintain the puppy/dog to within 5Lbs of the ideal weight for a male this would be 50 to 65 lbs ,a female 38 tO 50LBS.
{09} Buyer agrees to not sell ,place trade or transfer puppy/dog without consent or consult by written form from Breeder.If Buyer is unable or unwilling to keep the puppy for any reason , the Breeder shall be contacted immediately so the Breeder may reclaim the dog at no cost [shipping excluded} and /or assist in finding a new home.Failure to comply to comply will void this contract and result in possible lawsuit.
{10} Breeder must be informed if the puppy/dog is in such a condition to be euthanized and have Breeders consent or agreement, no monetary funds or replacement will be available.
{11} Buyer agrees to provide Breeder the opportunity to request a necropsy at Breeders expense should the puppy/dog die of undetermined cause before the age of 5 years. This is to rule out possible genetic illness and allow Breeder to take appropriate actions should a genetic cause be found.
}12}Buyer agrees to show the dog if sold as show breeding prospect and to do the proper required OFA health checks HIPS ,ELBOWS,EYE, by or after the age of 2 years.A heart check is recommended and thyroid to receive the CHIC certification.
{13} Buyer agrees not to breed this puppy/dog or allow to be bred without consent of Breeder ,and is over the age of 2 and all the health checks and certifications are met as stated in section {12}.Also if decided to breed a consult with Breeder is recommended and the stud or bitch has the required minimum OFA health certifications of at least 3 generations.
