Vaccination Protocol

My recommendation for vaccination ,core puppy: 5 way at 7 weeks done by breeder then second a month apart then last after 4 months each done a month apart. the pups are usually protected and immunized after the second and can be taken out for training socialization. NOBIVAC is recommended. Rabies after 3 or 4 months done separate if possible. the best and safest brand is Merial by Ingelheim Boehringer.My dogs have gotten severe reaction to cheaper brands such as paralyzation. Over vaccinating yearly is unneeded and will cause auto immune disease and allergy disorders possible cancers and degenerating health.

Spay & Neuter recomended protocol

I recommend spay ,neuter after the dog is fully mature which for a belgian is about 3 years old when growth plates have closed which is governed by the reproduction hormones.Health factors caused by early neutering are urinary incontinence,elbow and hip dysplasia,cruciate ligament tears, cancers,low thyroid, poor coat texture and color ,lack of masking and lack of health longevity.

Training

Begin training at 7 to 10 weeks leash work, sessions should be short and rewarding .Use food for example small cooked hot dog and or a toy.Use a light nylon slip lead have the dog on your left side can be slipped around armpit if fussing or a martingale collar so pup cannot slip out. At first go where the pup goes and make it fun. As training goes along commands for sit ,down, come can be added always use a treat. The belgian requires leadership in training and control of certain inclinations like barking ,growl that may develop at about 5 months. Most of this is guarding instinct that kicks in and it is not a good idea to encourage by ignoring or thinking the pup is protecting .It is usually an unsure reaction from lack of experience and should be stopped with a firm voice and light pop correction with collar and leash ;excessive barking ,lgrowling,lunging should never be allowed. allowedgrowling

SAFE RECOMMENDED FLEA and PARASITE Products

Products generally deemed safe : VECTRA, REVOLUTION ,FRONTLINE,ADVANTIX,CAPSTAR. I consider these products safe with limited use ; overuse, double dosing ,monthly, could contribute to reactions from itching to hair loss or worse , they are toxic and can build up in the system. Some natural products like Wonercide seem much less toxic !For Parasites: Heartgard,Revolution,Ezybone wormerplus. Same with wormers overuse can cause reactions. ALL the ingestable Bravecto,Simparica Nexgard ,Credelio have FDA WARNING against using as causing seizures and death. DO NOT USE!!

NO. 2: DO NOT DO UNNEEDED VACCINATIONS EVER THEIR WHOLE LIFE THEY ARE IMMUNIZED FOR A LIFETIME USUALLY AFTER THE 3RD WHICH SHOULD BE DONE AFTER 4 MON. NO.3: keep them on a good feed that agrees with them that they are not allergic .NO.4: DO OT EXPOSE THEM TO A BARRAGE OF PESTICIDES IN THE EVIRONMENT AND ON THEM .
